Professors from the Department of Trauma and Orthopedics, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), paid a courtesy visit to the President
On Thursday, October 24, 2024, Professor Naranbat Lkhagvasuren, Head of Department of Trauma and Orthopedics at MNUMS, Professor Ulziibaatar Ulziinyam, Consultant of Department of Bone and Joint Surgery at National Trauma and Orthopaedic Research Center, Mongolia, and three other professors paid a courtesy visit to the President of SUMS. They had been invited to attend a conference in Kyoto by Professor Imai, Department of Orthopedic Surgery at SUMS, and in the morning of the same day, they observed a surgery using a robot, which was performed by Professor Kubo, Department of Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine at SUMS.
MNUMS and our university established an international exchange agreement in 2013, fostering collaboration across various fields ever since. This visit is expected to further enhance exchanges in medical sciences between the two universities and strengthen ties between Japan and Mongolia.
